Section of Earl Armstrong Road to be closed for two weeks starting September 14
From Monday, September 14 to Tuesday, September 29, Earl Armstrong Road will be closed between Bowesville Road and Limebank Road for watermain infrastructure work.
The closure will allow for a land owner to install a new watermain connection to service the lands where the South-East Ottawa Recreation Complex will be built. The installation is proceeding this month to support overall project construction timelines.
Traffic impactsTraffic delays are expected while work is underway. Please plan ahead and allow additional time to reach your destination.
Detour routeA signed detour will be in place from Bowesville Road to Leitrim Road to Limebank Road.
OC TranspoBus service will be detoured as needed to accommodate the work. While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, customers may experience some delays. Access to Bowesville and Leitrim Park & Ride lots will remain open and clearly marked detour routes will be in place.
Pedestrians and cyclistsSigned detours will be in place to direct pedestrians and cyclists around the work zone.
