If Canada and the U.S. were homes on a street, they’d be locked in what could be politely called one of the worst neighbour disputes their quiet town of North America has ever seen.

One neighbour complains about how the other treats their kids, while the second neighbour is worried the first is going to unilaterally move the fence into their yard. And tensions are on the rise.

But how did two friendly neighbours run into such problems?
