Government executives were paid $201.5 million in bonuses in 2025 despite “barely pass(ing) their own test,” according to Canadian Taxpayers Federation. The advocacy group obtained access to information records that showed the government handed out multiple bonuses, including a “bilingual bonus,” a “performance award” and “at risk pay,” among others, last year.
