An Ottawa crossing guard has died after he was struck by a truck near a Barrhaven elementary school. According to Ottawa Police, 55-year-old Peter Clark was working at Cedarview Road and Kennevale Drive at around 8:20 Monday morning when the incident took place. He was rushed to hospital and unfortunately didn't survive, while a 19-year-old male has since been arrested in connection to the hit-and-run.
