Emera Inc and its subsidiary Nova Scotia Power are addressing a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to parts of their Canadian network and servers, the companies said on Monday.The energy providers discovered the threat on Friday and took steps to contain and isolate the affected servers, and prevent further intrusion, they said.“There remains no disruption to any of our Canadian physical operations,” including Nova Scotia Power’s generation, transmission and distribution facilities, the Maritime Link or the Brunswick Pipeline, the companies added.
