Watching something that defies gravity, odds, and the basic principles of physics and mathematics happen before our very eyes gives us an infusion of awe that feels incredible. A judge has sentenced a Markham, Ont., woman to two years in jail for driving through a red light three years ago at 80 kilometres an hour and causing the crash that killed a 75-year-old woman.
