However, it doesn’t capture everyone without primary care, largely because there is a sign-up process involved. Not all Ontarians are willing to go through with that. Regardless, the Ministry of Health insists that the program is working. As of this week, they claim to have connected 118,000 people with either a family doctor or a primary care team.
