
The Public Works and Infrastructure Committee today approved harmonizing existing speed limits along Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard North, in line with the preliminary findings of an ongoing speed zone policy review.
The stretch of roadway between the roundabout at St. Joseph Boulevard and Inlet Private has six different speed zones. The proposed changes would reduce that to three zones, ranging between 40 and 50 kilometres per hour to provide greater consistency and make roads safer for all users.
