OC Transpo is set to reduce some of its school services this Fall, and the trickle-down effect might have already started. The transit service says they are making the changes ahead of federal workers returning to the office, which could collide with back-to-school season. Back in 2024, the Ford government expanded the speed limits on a section of 400 Series highways. Two years later, they are doing it again, and the new limit will be 110-kilometres-per-hour. Ontario Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sakaria says the bulk of the work will be done throughout July and August, and insists that these changes will help people and goods move more readily provincewide.
