The Canadian government is spending tax dollars for lunch-ins, flights, tickets for games, concerts, and tens of thousands to attend tennis matches, and the list goes on. There are more misuse of dollars, like going to rock concerts, luxury hotels, hemp body creams, hip-hop concerts, $4,000 to a strugging golf coarse and $4,000 to sporting events.
Mayor Sam Katz billed tax payers $2,033 for a pair of season tickets even though premier Greg Selinger paid for their tickets out of his pocket. Ontario's Municipal Property Assessment Corp. spent $170,000 on a one day exercise playing with lego, and the tax payers paid for it. Whitehorse coughed up $1.3 million for a ski hill, the feds gave them $1.6 million a year ealier. The City of Ottawa spent $48,000 on a deluxe three sided bike cage for city employees.
I could write a 200 page book just on the spending and the corruption in the government. When do we say enough? l for one have seen enough.
