Earlier in the show, we heard from Beacon Hill-Cyrville councillor Tim Tierney, as he voiced his concerns with the LRT repairs. Specifically, he is concerned with Alstom’s revised gameplan, and the problematic wheel hub assembly. Alstom has decided to halt plans for a full redesign, deeming that it’s unnecessary to fix the issue. The manufacturer insists that it’s the tracks, not the train. Either way, Tierney is mad, and he says the solution ultimately falls on RTG. Plus, the United Kingdom’s finest cheese-chasing competition has concluded for another year. However, the grand-prize winner was an American.
