‘A relief’: West Island’s only homeless shelter set to open its doors again

Richochet, the only homeless shelter on the West Island of Montreal, will reopen its doors on Monday, after being closed for more than 40 days.

Team Poitras Relay, from the Saulteaux First Nation, is one of ten teams competing in the Indigenous Relay Racing at the Calgary Stampede. The sport is a fast and frantic display of horsemanship with a long history steeped in cultural significance. Much like an Olympic relay race, except instead of a team of runners taking turns, these races feature one rider who switches between three different horses.
