Democratic nominee Kamala Harris wasted no time attacking Republican nominee Donald Trump, pointing the finger at his past mistakes and punching through his future plans. Who won last night's showdown in Broadway? Did last night's winner also miss the mark on some key issues? The debate begins in Hour 2. Earlier this morning, Ottawa's Mayor announced a budget direction for 2025, which will be introduced in detail to city councillors next week. The Quebec government is facing criticism for a program that paid students to learn a construction skill – as less than half the graduates are certified to work in the industry.After it was recently revealed the program fell far short of its target, Parti Quebecois Leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon on Tuesday accused the government of creating an “all-inclusive, all-paid package” that students can use “to go and renovate (their) cottage or renovate (their) basement.”
