Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. September 19th, 2024

September 19, 2024
It's not easy making friends, especially at a time where everyone is on edge. But for today's youngest students, friendship is arguably the most important asset in a child's development. According to a recent poll from the University of Michigan Health Network, one-in-five parents are worried about their children's inner friend circle. More specifically, whether their child has enough friends, or enough good friends. Has your child struggled in that department? And as parents, is there anything we can do to help? We dig deeper with early childhood consultant Julie Romanowski, who is based in British Columbia. Meantime, a recent op-ed by local entrepreneur Greg Weatherdon is calling out the City of Ottawa over its alleged 'wasteful spending'. He elaborates further in Hour 2. Plus, we deliver the latest developments from a gruesome murder trial, as CTV's Katie Griffin joins us in-studio.
