Ontario Premier Doug Ford is defending his government's upcoming legislation which hopes to block construction of new bike lanes if they result in the loss of other vehicular lanes. Our Question of the Day: ' Should the Province control where cities can put bike lanes?' Vice President of Bike Ottawa thinks not. Later, the Competition Tribunal has found the Cineplex Inc. guilty of deceptive marketing practices. Movie reviewer Keith Whittier says they (Cineplex Inc.) are not the only ones with such practices.

Nearly half of all Canadians say their access to medical care has worsened over the last few years, with two-thirds experiencing what they consider an unreasonable wait for surgeries and other services, a new survey has found.As a result, 73 per cent now say they’re open to major reform of the health care system, including a larger role for the private sector. But that doesn’t mean they support private payment: Nearly two-thirds felt it wouldn’t be fair to allow patients to buy medically necessary care because, “the rich would be better served.”
