The B.C. NDP and B.C. Conservatives have pledged to expand forced treatment but a rally in Prince George, as well as a federal minister, say the province should focus on expanding voluntary care instead.

The plan was first floated by Premier Doug Ford weeks ago when he announced the start of a feasibility study to plan a 50-kilometre tunnel.
