Hour 4 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. October 31st, 2024

October 31, 2024
Do you remember the story of how Carleton University was about to get a bridge across the Rideau River, and then it got delayed, and then it got delayed again, and now they finally have it? Well, a pedestrian bridge across that same river in Ottawa’s East End is in need of major repairs. And guess where that bridge is connected to? Yep, it’s the University of Ottawa. CFRA’s Chris Holski has the latest. Later in Hour 4, we bring you up to speed on today's top headlines, starting with an update on the Trillium Line. Spoiler alert: We still don't have a Grand Opening date. However, a technical briefing is expected in the 'coming weeks'. Hooray? Plus, Ottawa Public Health is urging everyone to update their vaccinations as the temperatures drop. Dr. Vera Etches spreads the word.
