Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is condemning weekend violence in Canada that has led police in the Toronto area to make arrests in connection with fights that erupted between pro-Khalistan Sikh protesters and Hindu temple goers.Simmering tensions between the two religious groups boiled over this past weekend at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, causing police to make several arrests in the city north of Toronto. Peel Regional Police said three people were arrested and charged on Sunday in connection with “a demonstration held at a place of worship” that turned violent before police then moved protestors away from the site.
