If your path has taken you anywhere near the Rideau Canal lately, you may have noticed the stairs and buildings being prepared for winter. Either that or you got stuck in traffic due to NCC employees impeding the flow of vehicles as they brought in vendor equipment, chalets and such to the skateway.
