The federal government has awarded a private company $13.8 million to create co-working spaces for public servants in the National Capital Region. The first batch of spaces are scheduled to open in Gatineau next month. However, these workspaces are only for public servants who work at Public Services and Procurement Canada, who can only use it on their ‘flex’ day. We deliver the details in Hour 2. Meantime, new data shows that home construction in Canada’s Capital is down 14 percent in 2024.
