Woman charged in fatal Vanier stabbing was previously accused of stabbing husband

The woman charged over a fatal stabbing in Vanier last month was previously accused of stabbing her husband during a 2011 domestic dispute in Upstate New York. She walked free after a grand jury accepted she was acting in self-defence.
The case, which has as much to do with journalistic ethics as it does with the fraught politics of the Middle East, dates back to a July 2014 march organized by the Association of Palestinian Canadians
