3 arrested as Montreal anti-NATO demonstration turns violent

Montreal police say at least three people were arrested after protests denouncing NATO turned violent Friday evening as the city begins hosting the 70th annual NATO Parliamentary Assembly. A police spokesperson says demonstrators threw objects at police, lit two vehicles fires and smashed windows.
