Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said she’s unwilling to block oil and gas exports to the United States in retaliation for the steep tariffs that Donald Trump is threatening to impose on Canada.She said Thursday her province is not prepared to follow Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s proposal to suspend electricity exports to American customers if Mr. Trump’s incoming administration proceeds with tariffs on Canadian goods as he has vowed.
A 37-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with a road rage incident last week in Temiskaming Shores.
