Calgary police officer charged with assault after man shot twice with a stun gun

A Calgary police officer has been charged with assault almost a year after a man was shot twice with a stun gun.Police say officers were responding to a call in the city’s southwest in January when one officer trying to enter a home used his conducted energy weapon on a man.Police allege the officer used force that was not reasonable or proportional given the circumstances.
