Believe it or not, today is World Toilet Day, a 24-hour stretch where we raise awareness about the urgent need for all humans to have access to proper sanitation. Does Ottawa have enough public washrooms to serve its residents? We pose that question to Somerset councillor Ariel Troster, as Centretown will soon receive access to a pair of self-cleaning public bathrooms. Bessa Whitmore, a member of the Gotta Go! campaign team, says technology is nice until it doesn't work.
