Dude, where’s my bus? It’s a phrase that transit riders in this city have likely mumbled under their breath, perhaps more times than they count on one hand. Well, a resident in Riverside South has turned that frustrating sentence into an entire documentary about Ottawa’s transit woes. His name is Gio Petti, a frustrated OC Transpo regular who takes the bus to work five days a week. He joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 2. Plus, a crowd of residents in Sandy Hill are waving the red flags about a local drop-in centre. They believe a recent wave of theft, violence, and intimidation has stemmed from Belong Ottawa’s Centre 454. These residents feel terrified and they want City Hall to take action. We dig deeper with Rideau-Vanier councillor Stephanie Plante.
