Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford has won a third straight majority government, with early returns showing his party leading in 79 seats out of 63 seats needed. The New Democrats maintained their status as the Official Opposition party with 26 seats, while the Liberals appear to be on track to regain official party status. As of 10:30 p.m., the Progressive Conservatives had 43 per cent of the popular vote, with the Liberals at 29 per cent and the New Democrats at 18 per cent.
