Head Canadian soccer coach calls 51st state rhetoric 'insulting'

Jesse Marsh, the head coach of the Canadian men's national soccer team, told reporters on Wednesday he found comments about Canada becoming the 51st state unsettling and insulting. Mr. Marsh is American and called on President Trump to, "lay off the ridiculous rhetoric."

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford has won a third straight majority government, with early returns showing his party leading in 79 seats out of 63 seats needed. The New Democrats maintained their status as the Official Opposition party with 26 seats, while the Liberals appear to be on track to regain official party status.
