Alberta AI pioneer Richard Sutton wins coveted Turing award

A renowned pioneer of artificial intelligence who moved to Canada two decades ago from the United States has won the world’s top prize in computer science.Richard Sutton, a University of Alberta professor and research scientist at Edmonton-based Keen Technologies, was named a co-recipient of the Turing Award on Wednesday.
