Gardeners are one step closer to planting food on city-owned land in front of their homes

The city of Ottawa rewrote the rules in 2023 around gardens on what’s called the right-of-way boulevard. But that didn’t include edible plants. Now, a committee has voted to change that and the final vote will go to council in April.
The New Brunswick government says it plans to sell the 11 Teslas TSLA-T it owns, in response to United States tariffs and the prominent role that the carmaker’s CEO plays in the Donald Trump administration.Premier Susan Holt told reporters last week the government had started looking into what price it could get for the vehicles, adding that the Teslas were sitting in a parking lot and not being used.
