Candidates who make even a small mistake on their municipal election finance returns should face an audit, two Ottawa judges have ruled in back-to-back decisions that a lawyer worries could lead to abuse.

The district approved widening certain trails to a maximum of 2.4 meters, with upgrades to the Sunnyside Trail focusing on public safety.
