Man seriously injured in Toronto shooting after police fired guns at him, watchdog says

Ontario’s police watchdog says a man was seriously injured when two Toronto police officers fired their guns at him after a traffic stop in the city’s north end Sunday night.The Special Investigations Unit says the incident happened around 11 p.m. after an officer made a traffic stop near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West.The SIU says there was an “interaction” and two officers discharged their firearms.
