Montreal family wants answers after loved one dies following police intervention

The victim's family says they don't know who placed the call, why police arrived in such large numbers, and why officers were, in their view, overly aggressive.
Five people were initially accused of first-degree murder following the teen's death in Trenton, Ont., in January 2024. Four pleaded guilty to lesser charges. Only Aaron Ryan has been convicted of murder.
