The Globe and Mail led the National Newspaper Awards with wins in nine categories, including for coverage on the war in Ukraine, an investigation into the culture of Canada Soccer and a series of stories diving into Canada’s housing crisis. The Globe also received a special citation for a photojournalism summit that brought together photojournalists from across the country.
