Defence lawyer Julianna Greenspan told a jury at the sexual assault trial of five former members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team that the complainant has “refused” to refer to the accused men as “boys” during her eight days of testimony, because she has a “clear agenda.”Ms. Greenspan, who is representing one of the accused, Cal Foote, is the last of the five defence attorneys that will challenge the evidence of the complainant, who is known publicly of E.M. She began her cross-examination in a London, Ont., courtroom on Tuesday morning.
