Notice of special committee meeting continuing May 16
May 15, 2025
Today’s special joint meeting of the Emergency Preparedness and Protective Services Committee and the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee will temporarily adjourn and resume on Friday, May 16 at 10 am.
This meeting will continue to be held both in person in Andrew S. Haydon Hall at 110 Laurier Avenue West, and through electronic participation. Residents can watch on YouTube. For more information, please consult the meeting’s agenda at ottawa.ca/agendas.
Canada won the inaugural Canadian Shield Tournament on Tuesday night despite losing to African champion Ivory Coast 5-4 in a penalty shootout. The 30th-ranked Canadian men finished with four points, one ahead of No. 86 New Zealand and No. 25 Ukraine and two ahead of No. 41 Ivory Coast.
