The Hockey Canada sexual-assault trial has once again sparked conversation across the country around meaningful consent, respect and safe sexual relations.The Globe wants to hear from young women and their parents about how they’re navigating those discussions. How do teenaged girls and young women feel about the current state of things? Has there been progress since the #MeToo movement? Does it feel like there is a better, more nuanced understanding about consent, and what respectful relationships look like?

Ottawa’s foreign ministry said it erred when it issued a public statement Friday advising all Canadians in the Middle East to leave if possible as a conflict between Israel and Iran escalates.The Department of Global Affairs in a Saturday statement instead told Canadians to consult its official travel advisories for countries and other areas in the region, which currently warn Canadians to “avoid all travel” to Israel, the West Bank, Gaza Strip, as well as Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
