As world leaders attending the G7 summit in Kananaskis began to arrive, hundreds of protesters gathered in downtown Calgary on Sunday, hoping to send a message.

On any given day, drones buzz in the skies above Quebec’s detention centres looking to drop tobacco, drugs or cellphones to the inmates below.
