The countdown to summer vacation in Ontario will be blistering as Environment Canada forecasts temperatures topping 30 C across much of the province’s South and East, including Toronto and Ottawa, starting Sunday and into at least Tuesday.The heat wave will also affect parts of Southern Quebec, and edge into Manitoba and New Brunswick.

An Ontario woman was arrested twice in the same day for trafficking cocaine, police say.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the woman was arrested in Dryden and Machin, Ont., on Saturday, June 28.
According to a press release published July 2, a suspicious vehicle at a business was reported to the Dryden OPP in the northeast area of the city in the early morning of June 28.
