Canada’s first beach cleaning robot is making its debut this summer to reduce litter at Ontario parks. Pollution Probe CEO Melissa DeYoung says the launch of the robot is beneficial for the environmental organization’s waste reduction initiatives.

An RCMP equipment failure is responsible for igniting a wildfire near Lytton, B.C., stirring painful memories for a community that is still rebuilding after being levelled by fire four years earlier.
