If you’re under the weather, and you can’t afford to stand in line waiting for answers, who ya gonna call? Probably not The Ghostbusters, but perhaps the World Wide Web. How often do you use DIY medicine these days? What about getting medical advice from someone, or something, who isn’t a medical professional? Kristy Cameron tackles online remedies, and your feedback, during today’s Question of the Day. Meantime, the RCMP is warning Canadians about the looming dangers of online radicalization. This comes after 4 people were arrested near Quebec City for allegedly trying to start an anti-government militia. The bigger headline is that two of the Quebecers who were snagged trying to seize Canadian land are active members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Joining us in Hour 3 is Walter Callaghan, a PhD candidate who is studying Anthropology at the University of Toronto. He was also a Health Administration Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces from 2001 to 2010.
