Cataract surgery is classified as a medically-necessary surgery in Ontario. But thanks to rising wait times, today’s patients are turning to private clinics for surgical options. Those results have come with several asterisks, as some patients allege they were being upsold. Today’s biggest headline, of course, is Canada’s defense spending gameplan. They plan to meet NATO’s 2 percent target in 2025. But what should the long-term plans include? We debate and discuss in Hour 3.
