Eleven people were arrested and charged during a pro-Palestinian protest in downtown Toronto over the weekend.
Toronto police say a large number of people took part in the protest Saturday afternoon in the area of Spadina Avenue and Front Street West.
Several Conservative MPs and leader Pierre Poilievre are criticizing the Crown's approach to prosecuting two key organizers of the Freedom Convoy protests, with the party's deputy leader calling it an act of "political vengeance."
