However, with Canada’s birthday just hours away, we decided to shake things up with a little bit of Canada Day trivia! Kristy Cameron tests the listeners’ knowledge, and even poses a few questions to a crowd of Bell Media personalities. Plus, as our Proudly Canadian segment wraps up, we saved the most inspiring story for last. Tareq Hadhad, the CEO of Peace by Chocolate, moved to Canada along with his family in 2016. Almost 10 years ago, they were refugees from Syria. Today, they call Nova Scotia home.
As Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe prepares to go to China next week, he said he would like the federal government to drop its 100 per cent electric vehicle tariff on Beijing.“From Saskatchewan’s perspective, I would say, ‘Yes, let’s remove the EV tariffs,’” he told reporters Tuesday.
