Albion Road and Lester Road intersection night work starting Tuesday, August 5

August 1, 2025
The Albion Road and Lester Road intersection will have overnight work between 6 pm and 6 am until Friday, August 29

The Albion Road and Lester Road intersection will have overnight work between 6 pm and 6 am, starting on Tuesday, August 5 until Friday, August 29. This work is being completed overnight to minimize traffic impacts and is being coordinated with the nearby Bank Street Widening project.

A noise by-law exemption has been issued for this work.

Paid duty officers will be on site to direct traffic during the overnight work. Please drive carefully through this and any other construction zones. Pedestrians will be safely accommodated through the construction. Cyclists will need to share the single lane with traffic through the construction zone.

OC Transpo bus stop #5903 (Lester/Albion) will be placed out of service for the duration of construction and will not be serviced by Shopper Route 304. Visit the OC Transpo Alerts page for the latest information.

This is for the required construction related to the Albion Road Traffic Calming Measures project, which will enhance safety for pedestrians and all road users.
