Feds aim to give investors ‘certainty’ in budget to put money into Canada

Prime Minister Mark Carney says his government will introduce legislation next month to tighten Canada’s bail system, making it harder for those accused of serious crimes to be released, after a series of violent incidents including assaults and home invasions.Mr. Carney, who wrapped up two days of meetings with his cabinet in Toronto this week, said at a press conference Friday in Mississauga that his government is committed to fixing the Criminal Code.
