Faculty locked out at Dalhousie University in Halifax over contract dispute

Atlantic Canada’s largest university has locked out about 1,000 professors and other teaching staff less than two weeks before the start to the fall term.
Dalhousie University in Halifax locked out its employees around 9:30 a.m. amid a contract dispute with the faculty association.
