Back in 2019, the Ford government gave Ontario municipalities permission to use speed cameras. Six years later, it’s attempting to ban those cameras, whether it’s the easy way or the hard way. However, a city councillor in Brampton isn’t throwing in the towel without a fight. Rowena Santos joins Kristy Cameron after her motion unanimously passed at Brampton City Council.

The British Columbia government has recruited former national defence minister Harjit Sajjan to help the province secure some of the billions the federal government will spend to boost its military commitment. Sajjan served as the minister between 2015 and 2021, and Jobs minister Ravi Kahlon says he has agreed to advise the provincial government for free.
