David Eby and Danielle Smith clash over proposed oil pipeline

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and B.C. Premier David Eby are trading barbs over Smith’s push for an oil pipeline to the West Coast. Eby says the plan is 'fictional' and would cost billions in public money, comments that Smith says are un-Canadian and unconstitutional.
The British Columbia government has recruited former national defence minister Harjit Sajjan to help the province secure some of the billions the federal government will spend to boost its military commitment. Sajjan served as the minister between 2015 and 2021, and Jobs minister Ravi Kahlon says he has agreed to advise the provincial government for free.

The report says Ontario declared the end of the outbreak on Monday using national guidance that says an outbreak is complete 46 days after the onset of a rash in the last case.
