Family, advocates speak out after alleged hate-motivated attack in Markham, Ont.

The family of a Muslim employee of a Markham, Ont., hotel who was the target of an alleged hate-motivated assault last month, said the attack has left them heartbroken and fearful as the National Council of Canadian Muslim is warning of a sharp increase in hate-crime against the community.
Ontario's measles outbreak, which sickened more than 2,300 people over the course of nearly a year has been declared over.
